Rising fashions of Indian wear in western countries

India is one of the richest countries that provide fabrics and clothes to all other countries. The reason behind this is that India has always been the land of traditions and culture.  But since few years Indian people are migrating from India to other places of the world in search of jobs or settlement. And when Indians are moving to other countries, they are taking their customs and beliefs with themselves and spreading it other places. So when a bride living in other country orders or wishes to wear ethnic in her wedding, either its lehenga or saree, she is sure that she will be the centre of attraction at the wedding or any event.

Guests invited to the wedding starts liking the Indian cloth and the way it is styled. The more people see these clothes, the more people want to know about it and that leads to the rising fashion of Indian in the western countries. And in international events like international fashion shows or any award shows, Indian designers are trying to showcase their work and unique designs on Indian cloth. So that foreign people will also start loving it. And they will start asking for the same pattern of designs or cloths. This led to the rise of Indian trends in western countries like USA UK and CANADA and a growing number of people are choosing to wear Indian clothes or Indian designer’s cloths for special events.

We all must have noticed in the past few years that, all celebrities from other countries wear Indian clothes, especially saree in some events. From Hilton to Oprah Winfrey, Ashley Judd to Madonna, From Paris to New York or from Bollywood top celebrities to Hollywood top celebrities they are willingly draping it and loving it. Several Hollywood movies are also showing Indian attires in them that lead to the promotion of Indian wear. Movies like 27 dresses, Rachel gets married, The Accidental Husband, all had the lead actresses draping saree themselves.

For more profits foreigners are opening a boutique like store in their countries because they know that due to the uniqueness in design and pattern it can give them a big share in the fashion market. Even local people out there are ordering from those stores and buying from there.   Most westerners are enthralled by the use of gorgeous fabrics such as silk, crepe, chiffon, Georgette and even cotton. When these fabrics are made even better with handcrafted embroidery, embellishments and work that is unheard of in the West, the final piece not only becomes couture, but also truly unique!

FIBRE FROM SILK

The Conservative Wedding Saree
Silk is known for its comfort  as well as its luxurious style... It is a smooth and shiny fabric, which has good insulation qualities that make it suitable for wear in either winter or summer. And if its your wedding then be sure it will add 10 pounds.to your perfect and gorgeous look.
India’s or I can say world’s most popular and longest enduring fashion is saree and is considered to be the item for women’s gorgeous look. It is basically taken from Sanskrit that means strip of clothes. This cloth can be draped in various different ways around the body and is often paired with ravika and choli that is a blouse for to wear and for bottom wear it’s a skirt like cloth.
This type of clothing is so popular for wedding that every indian bride prefers a beautiful saree for her perfect. Handmade sarees, like cotton or silk sarees that are beautifully designed by giving extra effects and borders or by accessorising them are now a days in fashion.

Brides of present generation has no specific choice of colour for wedding sarees, they wear all different kinds of sarees with variation in colour that came from deeply rooted symbolic beliefs. But if we talk about the general belief, people prefer red sarees more than any other colour saree. The reason for choosing colour red is appropriate because it represents marital bliss, as well as fertility.

Yellow colour is another colour that is very prominent at Indian wedding ceremonies and indeed is picked for wedding sarees. And reason for selecting this colour is because it is considered sacred and represents wheat and mustard that shows a good harvest as well as religion and healing. In eastern Uttar Pradesh and Bihar, it is a custom that every maternal grandmother gives a piri, a yellow saree to the bride for lagan. On the other hand, the groom wears a golden yellow jama-chola or dhoti. And In the Kangra region, it is the maternal aunt that follows the custom of stitching a full-length, yellow ling-chola, which is now worn as an under-kameez.

But in the Maharashtra region the brides wear green wedding sarees, often with red borders that are wrapped around the legs that looks like a dhoti. So you can see the diversity in the Indian bridal wear and their popularity all over the world.
